CONCEPTUAL PROGRAMMING AND DESIGN

We were hired to develop a concept for the reprogramming of the street toward a more pedestrian-friendly experience. The solutions included widening the sidewalks for cafe seating, tiered planters for stormwater runoff, adding bike path and a roundabout at the street’s termination. Our proposal not only extends the existing updated road paving condition on South Liberty to the North, but also ‘weaves’ together wonderful planting opportunities from the East future Starwood Green corridor to the Charming Collins Canal experience to the North. This was a collaborative design process with the (CPNA) Collins Park neighborhood association and adjacent building owners.
